Customer success is about more than resolving technical issues. It is about understanding people, earning their trust, and helping them get the best out of the solutions they use.
But behind every successful customer relationship are people on both sides: the teams committed to delivering results and the customers who trust them to get the job done.
This Customer Success Week, we spoke with members of Descasio’s team to learn what their work looks like beyond the tickets, calls, and customer requests. From staying up late to resolve an enterprise customer’s Microsoft Copilot downtime to helping an organisation improve productivity from 20% to 50%, their stories reveal what it means to go the extra mile.
We also recognise the customers who continue to trust us, share their challenges, and work alongside us to find better solutions. Your trust makes our work meaningful.
Here’s a closer look at the people behind the work.
What does working in customer success mean to you?

Eneye Attah, Customer Success Associate
“Meeting new customers and getting to know them more so I can provide the appropriate solution.”
For Eneye Attah, understanding the customer comes first. Every organisation has different needs, and understanding those needs helps her identify the right solutions.
Faith Akinshola, Customer Service Associate
“Seeing that my customers, like I love to call them, when they come with an issue, they leave being satisfied, having and knowing well that I got their back.”
For Faith, it is about making sure customers know they have someone they can count on, even when things do not go as planned.
Eshomomoh Irosowe, Partner Compliance Team
“Connecting with our clients, meeting with our customers, and also engaging with our partners.”
Oshomomo’s role highlights another important part of customer success: building relationships and maintaining effective engagement with customers and partners.
Lois, Customer Success Associate
“Working with customers has been fun. Maybe it comes naturally, they say, but of course, I’ve learned on the job to see how to help my customers achieve great milestones by just, you know, strategically planning.”
For Lois, customer success is also about helping customers achieve meaningful outcomes through thoughtful planning and the right guidance.
Every one of these experiences reinforces an important truth: customer success starts with understanding the people and businesses we serve. To our customers, thank you for letting us understand your needs, work through your challenges, and support your progress.
What does going above and beyond look like?
Sometimes, it means staying long after the workday ends. Other times, it means bringing the right people together to solve a problem or finding a better way for a customer to work.
Eneye Attah

“The time I went above and beyond for a client was when they had a downtime on their Microsoft Copilot service. I had closed at 5:00 PM, but I had to stay up and work till like 2:00 AM for the customer because this was an enterprise customer.”
For Eneye Attah, the priority was ensuring the customer received the support they needed, even when resolving the issue meant working well into the night.
Faith Akinshola
“One of my clients was not able to access their web hosting. They couldn’t log in at all, and it was past working hours for the day. But I had to call on our technical unit, which they were able to reset and ensure that they’re able to log in again.”
Faith shared that the customer’s gratitude and satisfaction made the effort worthwhile.
Eshomomoh Irosowe
“There was a certain time when I went above and beyond for a particular client. There was a whole lot of downtime, a whole lot of technical glitches. Unlike me, I had to work on a Sunday. So I worked Saturday; I worked Sunday just to ensure things came out fine.”
For Oshomomo, the satisfaction came from seeing things work out in the end.
Lois
“One that stands out for me was the scenario where a customer reached out to me that they needed additional storage space.”
Rather than simply recommending more storage, Lois reviewed the customer’s existing licences and worked with them to identify a solution that suited their needs.
“We had to look at what is going to work best for their scenario. At the end of the day, productivity went from 20% to about 50% for all users.”
The result went beyond addressing a storage concern. It helped users across the organisation make better use of their tools, leaving Lois feeling satisfied.
These stories show that going above and beyond is not always about doing more. It is about doing what is necessary to help a customer move forward.
To our customers, thank you for your patience and collaboration, especially when challenges arise. Your feedback and willingness to work with us help our teams understand problems better and deliver solutions that make a difference.
What has working with customers taught you about people?
Customer success requires more than product knowledge. It calls for patience, empathy, active listening, and the ability to understand a problem from another person’s perspective.
Eneye Attah
“What my job has taught me about people is to be patient, because you meet a whole lot of people every day regarding different concerns.”
She explained that understanding customers requires empathy and a willingness to listen to their concerns. Over time, these experiences have helped her become more patient.
Her experience reflects an important lesson: before you can solve a customer’s problem, you need to understand what they are going through.
It is also why we value the conversations we have with our customers. Every question, piece of feedback, and shared experience allows us to listen, learn, and serve you better.
Three words that describe the people behind the work
Hear from our Customer Success Heroes
When asked to describe their approach to customer success, Faith and Lois shared words that capture the mindset they bring to their roles.
Faith Akinshola: “Proactive, empathetic, and dedicated.”
Lois: “Proactive, dependable, and always going far and beyond.”
Different words, but a shared commitment to anticipating customer needs, showing up when it matters, and doing the work required to help customers succeed.
These qualities also shape the relationships we strive to build with every customer: relationships grounded in trust, responsiveness, and a shared commitment to achieving the right outcomes.
Beyond the work: Where would they love to go?
Even the people who spend their days helping others need time to unwind. We also asked the team about their dream destinations.
Eneye Attah: “Singapore, here we come. I would love to go to Singapore.”
Faith Akinshola: “That would be the Maldives. And once I get there, I would love to switch off all my notifications and just sit down, relax for a good time.”
Eshomomoh Irosowe: “To Mauritius. It’s an amazing place.”
From Singapore to the Maldives and Mauritius, their answers offered a glimpse of the people behind the roles and the experiences they look forward to outside work.
Because delivering great customer experiences starts with people, we believe celebrating the people behind the work matters, too.
Celebrating our team. Appreciating our customers.

Every resolved issue represents a customer who can get back to work. Every thoughtful recommendation can help a team work better. And every extra hour spent finding a solution reflects the importance of showing up when customers need support.
This Customer Success Week, we celebrate Eneye Attah, Faith, Oshomomo, Lois, and everyone across the Descasio team who puts customers at the centre of what they do.
We also want to say thank you to our customers. Thank you for choosing Descasio, trusting us with your business needs, sharing your feedback, and allowing us to be part of your journey. Your confidence in our team inspires us to keep learning, improving, and finding better ways to support your goals.
Customer success is never a one-sided effort. It is built through listening, collaboration, trust, and a shared desire to achieve more.
To our team, thank you for the dedication and care you bring to every customer interaction. To our customers, thank you for being an important part of our story.
Here’s to building better experiences and achieving more together.
